DOCUMENTATION PREPARATION
1. Language requirements
Teaching in English: TOEIC 650
Teaching in Chinese: TOCFL level 3 (Advanced); HSK 5
2. Required documents
* Electronic format: Photo (.jpg) and Application for Admission of Exchange Student
* Paper sample:
 a. Photo (passport size)
 b. Application for admission of exchange students
 c. Official transcripts (English)
 d. Certificate of Proficiency in English/Chinese
 e. Passport copy (ID page)
 f. Letter of recommendation
 g. Study plan with self-introduction (English)
  Registration fee 1,000 NTD to be paid upon arrival at the University

* All documents must be written in Chinese or English. If any documents are written in any other language, please attach an English translation.
 
COURSE INFORMATION
In addition to language teaching, Chinan NCNU also offers courses for international students:
 
A. Multicultural Communication Course
Open to international and local students.
1. Teach basic communication with native speakers

 INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS PROGRAM
The international buddy program is that we assign an NCNU student to you. She will be with you at the start of the semester and throughout your time at NCNU.
Your international buddy will help you:
• Settlement in NCNU (including move-in, registration, check-in ......)
• Answer questions about your daily life
• Management system using support
• Parallel language

SHORT-TERM COURSE
* Mandarin Summer Camp
(1) Tuition: 700 USD (Partner University 10% discount)
(2) Education level: Beginner to Intermediate.
(3) Duration: 2 weeks, total 96 hours of tutoring and tutoring
curriculum activities.
(4) Minimum participants: 15 years of age or older. (30 is Max)
 
EXPENSES
(1) College dormitory (4 people room): NT$6,660 per person/semester; Internet usage fee NT$300/semester.
(2) A cash deposit of NT$2,000 is required and will be returned later
leave the dormitory.
Cost of Living About NT$6,000 per month.
Textbook Costs An average of NT$2,000 to NT$3,000 per semester.
Health Insurance
(1) Medical insurance for foreign students: NT$4,494 (US$749 * 6 months)/semester.
(2) Life Insurance: NT$269/semester.
