The Vietnamese Speaking Contest for Lao students  organized by the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Club. This is part of a series of cultural exchange activities between Vietnam and Laos towards the celebration of Bunpimay Tet - the traditional New Year of Laos.
At the same time, this is the chance for Lao students improve their Vietnamese language ability, creating a healthy learning and cultural exchange environment for students of the two countries.
 
With the theme "Vietnam in me", the contest encourages Lao students to share their insights about the country, people and culture of Vietnam. This is also an opportunity for Lao students to talk about their feelings and deep memories about life, study, research and training at Thu Dau Mot University. There were 04 teams articipating in the contest , including: Seven teenagers, Never Mind, Dream Team, We are a family.
 
At the end of the contest, the jury voted for the "Seven Teenagers" team to win the Champion prize, the "Never Mind" team for the second prize, the "Dream Team" for the Best Debating Team award.
