In December 2019, the AUN - QA external assessment team conducted a direct inspection at Thu Dau Mot University. From the self-assessment report, the experts visited the University's facilities, in-depth interviews with stakeholders, reviewed the evidence, etc. of 04 undergraduate programs including Business Administration, Chemistry, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering. The evaluations and recommendations of the External Evaluation Team according to AUN-QA standards have been seriously absorbed by the University, committed to building a specific plan to overcome the shortcomings and continuously improve in accordance with the process to constantly improve quality.
By March 2020, Thu Dau Mot University had received a notification of results from AUN: all 4 training programs of the University met the AUN-QA accreditation standards. According to the conclusion of the External Evaluation Team, 04 university-level training programs of the University have implemented an effective quality assurance system. All standards and evaluation criteria completely meet the international accreditation standards of the Quality Assurance Network of the ASEAN university system.
