National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) are launching scholarships for foreign students to study in the dual-degree program. The scholarship offers a monthly stipend, tuition waiver, and subsidy of airfares.
I. What is a Dual Degree Program?
International dual degree with partner universities to recognize each other's academic credits.
After completing the graduation requirements of the school and a partner university in terms of length of study and course credits, students entering this program will be able to earn an academic degree from both universities. .

IV. The Scholarship includes:
- NT$6,000 (US$200) monthly allowance.
- Free tuition and other fees (excluding insurance, accommodation and computer equipment).
Airfare Subsidy: one-way fare subsidy to Taiwan (NTD $5,000 / USD $166 per semester)

V. Conditions for scholarship consideration:
Undergraduate students or graduates with good academic records
VI. Scholarship application:
1. Admission application form (photo attached with face clearly)
2. Admission certificate and university transcript (attach Chinese or English translation).
3. 2 letters of recommendation.
4. Study program in English or Chinese
5. Certificate of finance (have enough money to study in Taiwan).
6. Applicants for the PhD program should attach their master's thesis. If the thesis is written in a foreign language, a summary in Chinese or English must be attached (Those without a thesis are exempt, but must have relevant supporting documents).
7. Autobiography (300 to 500 characters written in Chinese or English)
VII. Registration process:
Step 1: Applicants must send their application to OIA (oiaeducation@email.nchu.edu.tw), and be reviewed first by the Department of International Education, after which the list of priority students will be sent to the respective University.
Step 2: Universities will submit the results to the National Chung Hsing University Dual Degree Program Review Committee after the second screening.
Step 3: Scholarship recipients are decided after the president approves the list and scholarship recipients will be notified thereafter. The duration for the scholarship is one academic year (from September to July).
However, the scholarship period for students applying for the Spring semester is from February to December of the year.
Enrolled students must submit academic transcripts from the previous semester to the International Education Department prior to the start of the new semester. The scholarship will be transferred to the recipient's bank account monthly.
